Starting as an entrepreneur in 1993, Christo Iliev is the founder and strategic leader of AG Capital.

With proficiency in real estate expertise and a distinguished leadership approach, Christo Iliev has laid the foundation and overseen the successful growth of Bulgaria’s largest real investment group throughout his entire career.

Christo Iliev, MRICS, holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and a PhD in Economics and Real Estate Management. He is a graduate from the Harvard Business School OPM programme and CIPS and RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) certified.

Christo Iliev is a prominent founding member to both the Board of Directors of Endeavor Bulgaria and the Board of Directors of the Family Business Association (FBN) in Bulgaria.

He is also the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Mauritius in Bulgaria.

Christo Iliev’s professional  memberships include the Harvard Club Bulgaria and the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).

Robert was a co-founding Partner and a member of the Investment Committee at Europa Capital until September 2023.  At Europa, Robert was the Head of Investments and therefore managing acquisitions and origination across Europe but with particular oversight of Central Europe where he invested for Europa Capital for over 25 years.

Robert is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and received a BSc in Land Management from Reading University, and an MBA from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. 

Pavlin Petkov is an accomplished executive leader with over 25 years of international experience across the US, Western and Eastern Europe. His career spans senior roles in private equity, insurance, banking and pension fund management, combining strategic insight with operational excellence.

Most recently, Pavlin spent eight years as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Board Member of Allianz Bulgaria, where he oversaw €5 billion in assets and more than doubled operating profit through strategic transformation, disciplined capital management and growth initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at Allianz’s global headquarters in Munich, Axxess Capital Private Equity, Kaolin, as well as at Lehman Brothers, PwC, and the Bulgarian National Bank.

Pavlin brings to AG Capital a distinctive combination of board-level perspective, investment expertise and hands-on execution. His track record includes major capital raisings, M&A, restructuring and partnership building, consistently delivering results in complex and competitive environments.

He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy. He is a CFA charter-holder, a Fellow of ACCA and is fluent in English, German, Italian and Russian.

Dimitar Savov, MRICS,  joined Address in 1999. His career path features various executive positions within  AG Capital – Finance Manager of Address Real Estate, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Address Invest and has since 2006 served as CEO and Managing Partner of BLD and AG Capital Board Member. He was elected AG Capital’s CEO of the Year for 2016.

For over 15 years Dimitar Savov has been highly dedicated and played a key role in growing, positioning and retaining BLD as a definitive and successful leader in Bulgarian residential development.

Dimitar Savov holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Economics in Varna.

Ivaylo Vatev has a wealth of experience in investments and corporate financing. Before joining AG Capital, Ivaylo has held senior roles and has served as the CFO of Aurubis Bulgaria for 15 years, part of Aurubis Germany, a leading international metals group and the largest company in Bulgaria. Prior to that for 12 years he held the position of Director of Transactions for Southeast Europe at PwC.

He holds a degree from the American University in Bulgaria and is certified by the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).

Tanya Kosseva-Boshova, MRICS, has extensive experience in the commercial property market in the SEE region. In 2018 she joined AG Capital’s team as Managing Partner of the newly-stablished Park Lane Developments, having previously served as Partner and Managing Director of the two largest property companies in the country – Colliers International and Landmark Property.

As part of her senior commercial real estate career, Tanya Kosseva-Boshova has led the development, leasing, and management of the European Trade Center, the Burgas Plaza Mall and the Retail Park of Plovdiv.  She is also the Founder, Chair and Board Member of the Association of Commercial Building Owners in Bulgaria.

Tanya Kosseva-Boshova graduated from the American University in Bulgaria with Honors and a double major in Applied Economics and Business Administration.

Dobrin Staikov, UK Chartered Certified Accountant, has over 20 years’ experience in capital markets, private equity and debt finance. Prior to joining AG Capital in 2016, Dobrin spent 12 years as Senior Investment Officer at EBRD in London where he led multiple equity and debt transactions in Central Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.

His career also includes experience in Emerging Markets credit structuring and trading at Deutsche Bank London and in audit and transaction advisory at PwC New Zealand and Bulgaria. He has served as board member at financial institutions and corporations throughout Europe.

Dobrin Staikov holds a BA in Business Administration and Political Science from the American University in Bulgaria and MBA from INSEAD. He is also a member of the American University in Bulgaria’s Board of Trustees.

Yordan Angelov joined AG Capital in 2006 as part of BLD’s management team. He acted as Finance Director of the first Bulgarian licensed operator of electronic payments between 2008 and 2011, being promoted the same year to Finance Director at AG Capital. In 2016 he became CFO of BLD.

Yordan Angelov holds a Master’s in Finance Degree from the University of Economics in Varna.

Nikolay Dikov started his career in one of the biggest Bulgarian banks as legal advisor to large corporate clients. He further moved to the real estate sector by heading the legal department in a property development company.

He joined AG Capital in 2008, becoming the CEO of our NPL and distressed asset management business. His commitment and professionalism enabled the successful growth of Frontex where he served as Managing Partner between 2012 and 2013. In 2018 Nikolay Dikov led the establishment of Atland being appointed CEO.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Sofia.

Michaela Lashova is member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, RICS Registered Valuer and RICS Ambassador for SEE. Michaela has a proven track-record of successful operations on a various management position. The last 15 years, prior joining the company she was managing partner of large commercial real estate firm. Mrs. Lashova has also a five-year career at UniCredit Leasing, part of the largest financial institution in Bulgaria UniCredit, where she headed the department of large corporate clients and real estate. Her main specialization is helping to attract and retain as clients key international investors and developers. Michaela also worked as General Manager at Jobs USA, acting as mediator in finding jobs abroad for Bulgarian professionals. She gained international experience at FFAA, Chicago, Illinois as Program Director and Program Manager.

Mrs. Lashova holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Management from the City University – Washington and Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Georgi Pavlov began his career in the heavy manufacturing industry. In 2006 he joined the AG Capital team as Board Member and CEO.

In 2011 he became CEO of Address Real Estate, managing and contributing to Address’s growth and threefold increase in market share. He was elected AG Capital’s CEO of the year in three consecutive years (2012, 2013 and 2014).

A renowned expert in PropTech, Georgi Pavlov is the founder of 3P1 and also founder and main contributor to the Proptech.bg community in Bulgaria. Georgi Pavlov, ACCA holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Business Administration.

Dirk Pergoot has over 25 years of experience in port management and port operations. He has managed audits and concession preparations for several ports in Bulgaria, Romania, Belgium, Greece, Turkey and Poland. He has extensive expertise in start-up development, strategic planning, marketing, transportation and logistics. Dirk has held management positions in international companies such as Euroports Group, Van Moer Logistics, and ADM – Amylum Group.

He has worked as an advisor to Bulgaria’s Minister of Transport and was appointed as the General Manager of the State Company Port Infrastructure in Bulgaria.

He holds a Master’s degree from Ghent University, Belgium, and a Port Management Specialisation (Harbour Master) from LLyod’s Maritime Academy, London. Dirk is fluent in English, Dutch, Bulgarian, French and German.

Atanas Belyovski, CFA,  joined AG Capital in June 2011 as Financial Analyst at BLD. He has played a significant role in developing and affirming BLD as a leading residential property development brand.

After being appointed Director of Investments, Atanas Belyovski also became a Member of the Board of Directors of BLD in 2014.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce in Banking and Finance from the University of Malta.

Vladimir Gurdjieff has over 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate market, mainly in the industrial asset sector.

Before undertaking the development of the industrial and logistics portfolio of AG Capital/Park Lane Developments, Vladimir established and managed the Bulgarian subsidiary of CTP – one of the largest and most active developers of industrial and logistics space in CEE.

Prior to that, he was a partner and managed the industrial division of Cushman & Wakefield Forton. He started his career, working for some of the largest financial institutions in Bulgaria, such as Unicredit and Raiffeisen. Vladimir holds a Master`s degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy.

Alina has more than 19 years of experience in Real Estate, focusing on Asset Management, Commercial Management and Real Estate development. She was involved in multiple Office and Logistics projects and coordinated strategic business units in Retail and Residential markets.  Prior to joining Lion’s Head, she was part of the Commercial and Asset Management teams of Globalworth and Immofinanz.

Alina holds and EMBA from the Maastricht School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University Nicolae Titulescu.

Ivaylo Mishev joined AG Capital in the end of 2022 as CEE Director of the group’s residential development unit – BLD.

During 2010-2020 he served as Bulgarian Country Head at an international listed property group, completing a number of residential and mixed-use development projects, managing the acquisition, permitting, design, financing, construction, commissioning, and sale/lease of apartments, offices, and shops.

Most recently, in his capacity as CCO, he managed and oversaw the international business of a hi-tech startup in more than 30 countries with focus on the aviation, wind energy, and defense industries.

Ivaylo holds a BSc degree in International Finance and Trade from the University of Portsmouth and an MBA from the University of Sheffield.

Svetlana Yordanova is a senior investment management, private equity, investor relations and business development executive. She has over 25 years of global deal execution experience, of which more than 15 years in the GCC and MENA, with a track record in financial advisory, fundraising, operational value creation and business improvement across multiple sectors and industries including infrastructure, real estate, energy, retail, healthcare, consumer products and special situations. Svetlana has developed an international client base that includes C-suite management, family offices, private equity investors, investment banks, and corporates. Her professional repertoire also comprises multiple senior consultancies, executive management and Board of Director roles.

Svetlana started her career in Mergers & Acquisitions and Structured Finance at JP Morgan Chase in the US. She acted as a Partner and Managing Director of Investments at Solera Capital, a private equity fund based in New York as well as Maalem Holding in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Since 2017, Svetlana has been based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Svetlana holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School and a Master of Arts in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Ball State University.

Peter Iliev leads the strategic development and expansion of AG Capital’s self‑storage platform. He holds a degree in Construction Management and Real Estate from the Henley Business School, University of Reading.

Before entering the self‑storage, Peter was involved in the research and development of retail parks conducting in‑depth investment analysis for real estate assets. His combined technical and analytical expertise enables him to drive effective planning and long‑term positioning.

In his role at AG Capital, Peter successfully oversees the evolution of the self‑storage segment, strengthening the platform’s market presence in CEE.

Artur has over 15 years of CRE experience across private equity, asset management and development, as well as various consultancy roles.

Previously, Artur was an Associate Partner and Head of Asset Management at White Star, overseeing assets valued in excess of EUR 900m and supervising a team of 45 professionals. Prior to White Star Artur worked for over 5 years at private equity boutique Tristan Capital Partners where he was responsible for the management of the company’s CEE assets.

Dimitar Yordanov (ACCA) serves as the Group Finance Director at Lion’s Head Investments, bringing with him 12 years of extensive experience in financial management and strategic planning. In recent years, he has held positions as a Board Member and Managing Director, leading regional teams in finance, controlling, and accounting. Dimitar possesses expertise in completing M&As, spin-offs, new ventures, financial services, and large-scale business transformation initiatives. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) and is also a Chartered Accountant accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Valentin Rosu is the Construction Director for Romania at Park Lane Developments. His focus is overseeing Park Lane’s construction projects in the logistics sector in Romania.

Valentin Rosu has over 15 years of experience in the construction field, spanning both the retail and logistics markets. Prior to joining Park Lane Developments, Valentin Rosu was part of CTP, where he acted as Construction Director and Board Member for Romania. Valentin also worked 9 years at Kaufland, being involved in the construction and development of the company’s retail network. Valentin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economical Engineering from the Politehnica University of Bucharest – Engineering in Foreign Languages. Valentin is fluent in English and German.

Theodor Iliev is the managing partner of Ultima Homes, a boutique investment and development company, part of AG Capital’s portfolio. Theodor is a graduate of two prestigious educational institutions in Switzerland – his secondary education he receives at Institut Le Rosey, and his higher education at the Glion Institute of Higher Education. His first business endeavor begins with his university colleagues and is focused on the management of over 150 short-term rental properties in five European capitals.

Theodor has years of experience in the management team of the development company BLD, and now in his new role as the managing partner of Ultima Homes, Theodor successfully develops the brand’s values and vision.

Rada Yosifova has more than 15 years of management experience in the field of Human Resources, acquired mainly in the financial industry: financial audit and consulting services (PwC); insurance (Bulstrad – Vienna Insurance Group); and banking (Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria). Rada Yosifova graduated in Psychology from Sofia University; she has a diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching (UK) and graduated the HR Strategic Leadership Program at William Davidson Institute, University of Michigan.

For her expertise and achievements in the HR field Rada Yosifova was awarded HR Manager / Director of the Year 2019 by the Bulgarian Association of People Management.

Ivailo Tanusheff is a senior technology executive with more than two decades of experience across the banking, government, and technology sectors. He specializes in technology strategy, digital transformation, information security, and IT governance, with a proven track record of leading complex technology modernization initiatives and driving organizational change at scale.

Prior to joining AG Capital, Ivailo held senior leadership positions in information technology and cybersecurity at AMATAS, part of the Ocean Investments holding, as well as at Eurobank Bulgaria (Postbank), Raiffeisen Bank Bulgaria and ProCredit Bank Bulgaria.

Throughout his career, he has successfully led strategic technology programs and implemented innovative digital solutions that support business growth and efficiency.

Ivailo holds an MBA from New Bulgarian University and an MSc in Informatics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.

Lilia Banakieva joined our team in July 2015. She holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Sofia.

Lilia Banakieva started her career in 2000 as a corporate lawyer in Penkov, Markov and partners, one of the leading law firms in Bulgaria. In 2011 she became Head of the Legal Department at the Bulgarian Development Bank.

As a corporate lawyer, Lilia Banakieva has gained significant experience in M&A, Banking and Financing, Company Law, Contracts and Commercial Law and Legal Representation.

Irina Vasileva joined AG Capital’s management team in 2019. Her primary role includes overseeing and supporting staff and streamlining day-to-day operations in the group.

She has extensive experience in the field of customer service and corporate communications while working for leading companies in the telecommunications, banking and oil industries.

Irina Vasileva holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Trade from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.

Stoycho Tahtadzhiev has been AG Capital’s Chief Accountant since 2008. He has nearly 20 years of professional experience in Accounting.

Stoycho Tahtadzhiev is in charge of all accounting activities of both financial and management accounting. He is also responsible for preparing financial and performance reports, assisting departments with financial reviews, internal control and tax studies. His career has also featured employment with Schneider Electric and Doverie United Holding PLC.

Denitsa Kostadinova has over 18 years of experience in marketing, communications and administration. She has a long track record within the Group as prior joining the management team of AGCapital she was responsible for the Marketing and HR of Cushman & Wakefield Forton. In the last 2 years she was the Operations Manager of MyFlex, serviced offices and coworking space.

Denitsa holds a Master’s degree in Law and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Theory of Art from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

Ludmila Savova has 20 years of experience in investments, strategy and business development with international companies in the UK. She worked 8 years at EBRD in London as an Adviser to the Board of Directors and Manager in Official Co-financing.

Ludmila Savova holds a BA in Economics from the Helsinki University and an MA in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria. She is also a Research Fellow at the Marketing Department of the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD) in Fontainebleau, France.
