We are happy to share that Park Lane Developments, AG Capital’s commercial development company, has officially announced its expansion of operations to Poland and the appointment of Artur Lis as Country Manager.
Park Lane Developments becomes the second company in our group to establish а presence in Poland, following BLD’s announcement earlier in April 2023 to commence operations on the local market with a new office in Warsaw and a local team led by Ivaylo Mishev, Director CEE of BLD.
As Country Manager for Poland, Artur Lis will be responsible for developing and implementing Park Lane Developments’ local growth strategy, identifying new investment opportunities, establishing and affirming partnerships and navigating successful project deliveries and team performance.
Artur Lis has over 17 years of real estate industry experience in the CEE region and brings a wealth of knowledge. Prior to joining Park Lane Developments, he has held senior management positions at reputable companies within the real estate sector.
Throughout his career, Artur has closed over 500,000 square metres of successful lease negotiations with companies featuring Fiege, ZTM, Google Poland, Barcelo, CMS, BMW Group, Reckit Benckiser, LG Poland, Kompania Piwowarska and others. His experience also includes overseeing high-profile development projects, team management and initiation of partnerships.
Park Lane Developments’ entry on the Polish market follows the company’s active interest in diversification of operations into new asset classes and long term strategy for expansion in the Central and Eastern European region. With its rapid economic development and favourable investment climate, Poland has become a strategic market of interest for many businesses, especially for real estate. The country is also consistently investing in infrastructural development with nearshoring focus, including transport networks, logistics centres and industrial parks.
In Bulgaria, Park Lane Developments’ portfolio features a series of commercial and mixed-use buildings of supreme construction quality. The company’s flagship projects include the redevelopment of Sofia’s historic landmark Polygraphia Office Center and the development of the iconic and triple award-winning Class A Park Lane Office Center. Completed in June 2021 and named Bulgaria’s Building of the Year 2021, the project was sold to SAP three months later, thus becoming the largest investment deal on the Bulgarian office market for the 2019-2021 period.
